Summer Counselor positions : American Village 2012
We are temporarily closing recruitment, as many sessions have been staffed.
All counselor applications are kept on file for 1 year and we will be contacting those already on file as positions become available.
Often, last-minute postions become available. Do not hesitate to apply if you are planning on being in Europe and are interested in working.
American Village summer camps operate 13-day camps at eleven different rural locations in France. Our summer season is composed of four 13-day sessions. Summer Dates: July 4 - August 29, 2012 (* counselor arrival June 30)
- The majority of the Language counselor team will work July 1 - July 30. Around 30% the counselor team will work from July 1 - August 29.- Many Daily Life counselors only work 2 weeks at a time.
If you would like to be considered for a position for both months, we encourage you to submit your application in January/February.

Commonwealth Camp (in France) and Pueblo Espanol (in Spain) only operate during a limited period of time each summer. The minimum period of employment would be 13 days.
