We offer 3 different language camps : American Village (American English) , Pueblo Espanol (Spanish), and Commonwealth Camp (anglais). Each element of our program promises a diverse and enriching experience for our campers:
- A group of young participants fascinated by different cultures; their ways of life, their differences, their traditions, their sports and, of course, their languages!
- A team of native-speaking counselors - 1 for 5 campers - recruited specifically for the purpose of sharing their enthusiasm, anecdotes and knowledge of their home country. Each member of the counselor team possesses his/her own special talents:
- Our Language counselors organise and run the daily activities and English courses throughout the session. All of our counselors have childcare experience in their home country. They prepare large-scale games, small group and independent activities throughout the session. Our ESL counselors are experienced teachers who lead classes every morning. As all of our ESL classes are ‘English Only' ; our teachers have been hired for their responsiveness to and patience with their students.
- Our Daily Life counselors assure the harmony in the collective life of the campers. They organise the camper dormatories and speak French. they are, therefore, easily accessible to alleviate any problems or worries of the campers.
- Each of our locations is adapted for communal living and group activities.
- A learning experience designed as a huge game in which one is continually learning - unwittingly - and always having fun!
- Each Village is adapted to a specific age group. Our program is offered to four age groups: 8 - 12 (kids), 10 - 13 (youngsters), 12 - 15 (teens), and 15 - 17 (freshmen). Every day the complexity of our program is tailored to the age of the campers and their level of English.
- A method of teaching conceived through activities, which allows our campers to familiarise themselves with English as comfortably as possible, all while enjoying their vacation!
- A daily dose of English that allows aspects of North American Culture to be presented naturally. The participants learn freely and easily, aided by a daily schedule which presents a variety of fun and instructive activities.
- A continuous cultural exchange between our counselors and our program participants who have all come to live, play, learn, and share together!
